GRUPO (BRITÂNICO) UNIDADE UM [UNIT ONE](Londres, 1933-1936). Destaques; NASH, Paul e Henry MOORE. Participaram do grupo os artistas plásticos John Amstrong (1893-1973), John Bigge (1892-1973), Tristan Hillier (1905-1983); Francis Hodgkins (1870-1947) e os arquitetos Coater Wells, Lucas Colin (Lucas Anderson Colin, 1906-1984) e Edward Burra (1905-1976), bem como os pintores Ben Nicholson (1894-1982), Paul Nash (1889-1946), Christopher Nevinson (Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson, (1889-1946) e Edward Wadsworth (1889-1949); e os escultores Henry Moore (1898-1986) e Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975), entre outros. Os artistas deste grupo realizaram uma única mostra conjunta na Mayor Gallery (Londres, 1934). Herbert Read (1893-1968) publicou o livro Unidade Um: o Movimento Moderno [Unit One: the Modern Movement], lançado em Londres (abril, 1934), que abrangeu a Arquitetura, bem como a Pintura e a Escultura. Read e Moore lançaram o Manifesto da Arte Inglesa [English Art Manifesto] (Londres, 1934). Nash escreveu carta ao jornal London Times [Tempos Londrinos] divulgando o Manifesto da Arte Inglesa [English Art Manifesto] (12 Junho, 1934), lançado por ele e H. Read (Londres). Posteriormente Read organizou, juntamente com o Surrealista belga E.L.T. Mesens (Édouard-Léon-Théodore Mesens, 1903-1971) e Roland Penrose (1900-1984), a primeira Exposição Internacional do Surrealismo (Londres, 1936).
